Some more good news....

Well I was asked to do a lay-out and article for SM mag yesterday....am so cheering...but lol...here's the funny part ironically it's on Valentines day...he he he...but have figured out a way of getting around this, with out having actually to do it on me ....lol...but yeah so that was funny....also apparently we are supposed to have gotten our Masters entries back by now ...so I am wondering what is taking so long with mine considering that I only live like 5 minutes away.....oh well I can't wait to get the stuff back I miss it all and I have almost forgotten what they all looked like...but hopefully this is a good sign.....lol...wishful thinking you say and I agree...lol....but you can always wish....so I will do just that...lol

Some more exciting news got a pack of goodies today from A2Z Scraplets so can't wait to get into all of that....wooohoo...so some more chipboard packed lay-outs coming your way...woohoo...finally starting to have some ideas building up in my little mind...which is a good sign that my mojo is deciding to be productive with me instead of deserting me and leaving me high and dry...like it's been doing allot lately...lol

So anyway that is just what I am going to do now...SOME Scrapping so will catch ya all later...

Great News Blurt.....

I have now been given the go ahead that I am allowed to announce the Best News....lol...My boss and friend Victoria Langley has officially purchased the Scrapbooking Top 50 site.....woooohooo for her ....lol

My good news that comes out of this is that I will now be teaching classes over their and getting paid to teach them.....I will also be potentially judging a huge comp that Vikki might be running over their.....Now this comp is HUGE .....

Me, myself and I.... I can...this is a bit of a self affirmation, I have recently separated from my husband of 4 1/2 years, so I am now a single mother.....But yes this is why this lay-out was done....

This is one of my all time favourite shot's....it is my brother and my daughter Cody at my cousins wedding....These two have an amazing bond ...I cannot find words to describe it.... Used DM on this one and a butterfly that I got from Spotlight, also Green Tara flowers, Some more feathers from spotlight...BG pp's and metal charms....

My little lady at my cousins wedding dancing the night away...just like her dear mother....lol.

A Boys world...my little man Anthony, this was done for Scraploot's September monthly challenge....Had to be done in only brown and blue...

What I see.... I love this tree by 2 Crafty and you can get them in three sizes this was the medium...I got it from my visit over at Scraploot...where I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Anthea and Sheree two very talented and lovely ladies who talk on the my forum, also got the pleasure to meet Sue who also sponsors my site.....It was a pleasure ladies....

Yes there is journaling on the card.....about Life...as I seem to be wanting to scrap allot lately...lol...

NEWS HEADLINE.....

This weeks challenge.....

Well this week's challenge over at CD Doodles I set a challenge of a lay-out that had incorporate, fabric or material...but not lace.....anyway so last night in a blind rush I created this really cool piece that wasn't planned and took 2 hours....It became a tribute to my angel in disguise Ivone......This woman makes me feel so content and comfortable with myself and my life....and I will always value that......we also have long debates about weather happiness is real or not so in a way it's a tease at her to.....luv ya Ivone...he he he...anyway so have used my new favourite medium , some of the feathers from Spotlight...Also used more of the BG Ambrosia collection with the butterflies.....pearls and of course I cut out some flowers from an old Doily and used them as centres for my old book flowers....









I cut hand drawn flowers out of old book pages...then I coffee stained them I then inked the edges. I cut strips off of a Heidi swapp name tag thingy...lol... and stuck them coming out of the centre of the flowers...I used material flowers from an old doily to make them as centres.....I used more of the feather storks from spotlight.....

Good Morning....

Well good morning to you all....what a superb day today....the sun is out it's pay day and my mojo is back....woohooo.....so yesterday I did a lay-out called innocent plus finished another on off called Free that I have been working on....so after a week of a sluggish brain...the fog has cleared and I can scrap....wooohooo.....so here is my lay-out share enjoy....

This is a close up of the circle and feathers.......I cut a circle out of white Cardstock and Matted it with BG paper....Then I inked the edges of both, I stamped some clocks, vines and flourishes onto it to represent some sort of Garden.....lol....

The feathers are Divine got them from Spotlight, they have this whole new range out of feathers, feather flowers and just gorgeous flowers all different colours...so very inspiring, couldn't help myself and bought almost everything they had....lol...

This is some close ups of the flower cluster....some more of those very funky feathers and the flowers obviously, I stamped them all and then lightly brushed Glimmermist, coffee colour over them...I also used my new Cuttle bug and embossed the blue paper...then went over the top with glimmer mist to create definition.....I added the chipboard swirl towards the end, I felt it needed something more ...it just fit....lol....then obviously the bling and pearls came last as usual....

Lay-out share....

Ok so I have done some scrapping lately, well yesterday and today......lol...I have been to consumed by my other project.....

I have done this one for myself using the new Ambrosia paper range by BG.....loving the effect and that photo is supper cool....Its called "Shy"

This lay-out was done for Scrappy Days DT and is called Mum's boy....

The happy birthday chipboard corner piece is the other new stuff.....This is a simple design but it really shows off the chipboard......and I absolutely love this shot of Cody....

Event week 3 task....

I have posted the third event up and this was the example that I did for it.....

Ok so for some reason it's not letting me up load any-more pics...but as you can see the challenge is a canvas and the idea is to make it as artsy as possible and it has to have a photo on it...

So I am sick today...wooohoo...thank you my dear children is all I will say on that subject....lol..

If you couldn't tell I was being sarcastic.....lmao...I don't know why Im laughing ...it's not funny...I just had to take something, that looked very similar to a bee sting out of my poor sons foot...it was even a bit infected..eeewww...poor bugga is screaming the house down....It looked painful that's how I noticed it......oh well it's out now and all clean so it will heal fine....

Anyway Cody is at pre-school my house is relatively quite I am going to go and get this lay-out finished that I started last night,,,

On some of these I have used my favourite effect technique....paper mache'
This is the first lay-out that I ever used paper mache'....Angelic...this is Cody when she was 5 weeks

This lay-out is titled "My Life"....this is the style I usually love, simple but detailed......

This is another heavily worked Lay-out....it's called.."Love you around the world and back"

This one is another simple lay-out that I love called ..."Sweet heart"

This one is called Child's Eye's...and again I use the paper mache' technique....

Well another morning....

And it is a beautiful and sunny day.....but I feel like I am getting a cold and I can't seem to wake up.....maybe because I was up to late blogging on my other blog.....he he he....hopefully I will be able to fight this.....

Now today I have to scrap...so my on-line world is just going to have to wait......lol....At least the kids will be able to play outside to day....in fact Cody is already out there...crazy girl....
Anthony is still munching on breakky....what a little man....

Well it's a new morning and I am officially awake.....I am cheering because I will have the house to myself this weekend, so peace and quite and lots of scrapping hopefully if I can get away from the comp.......he he he....I have started another lay-out but it's another one I can't show you until Sep 1st, so, sorry about the tease....lol...well no I'm not I like to create suspense ....lol.

OMG....what have you girls done....

I can't get off this....lol

So my life as I know it......

I am married. I have two beautiful children Cody who is 3 1/2 and is very strong willed and cheeky just like her mum....lol....Anthony is much more clingy than Cody ever was...he really is a Mum's boy.
I remember Cody at this age and I used to say "No" or "Stop" and she would just look at me like yeah whatever mum....and carry on....Anthony on the other hand if I say "Don't" or "stop" oh my god it's like it's the end of the world....lol. He breaks down like I have smacked him or something....poor guy it breaks my heart, and makes me feel so bad......but you can't let them play with the oven or anything can ya...so I have to be a mum....the joys I call it......

I am a stay at home mum, who hopes to get her own business up and running, from home so that I can be with the kids as much as possible and try to build as much of a bond as possible while they are young....something I lacked with my parents......

I recently as of a few days ago became drivable....in the sense that I got my "p"s....lol...Yep I am the dreaded "P" plater...lol...If you were wondering why I have waited so long in getting my license, it was one because I had a fear of other drivers ....lol...I know that sounds strange but it was a trust issue.....and secondly I never had a real need to drive until lately as the kids are getting older and I will be needing to take them lots of different places at all times....lol...

Anyway have to go and chuck those angels into bed so that I can get back to work....almost the first of September and I need to get some more work done...lol....

Some recent work

Well have been quite busy over at my site with running the comp and forum, but have still managed to get some scrapping done....thank goodness....Some work I won't be able to show until the release date of Scraplets products....so you will just have to wait....lol. This lot I won't be able to show you until the 1st of Sep.....

Lately I have sorta been on a "ME" scrapping mode.....I have been having allot of things happening in my life ....so scrapping at the moment is more about affirmations and a way of documenting my feelings....lol. My great great grandchildren will really know me now....lol...

The next one is called "Why Hide?"

This started out as a PAC challenge on my site, but stuffed up because I added newspaper...so just carried on and added the flowers and Bling....lol

Ok well these two are some of the last that I have done besides the DT work....but as I said can't upload them yet....but will....lol

Hi all

Ok, so I know it's been quite a while since I last even looked at this Blog....but due to persistence from some very persuasive ladies.....lol....You know who you all are...lol. I have decided to give this another shot.....Well allot has happened in the last 6 months...I have started my own Online Scrapbooking Community and we are currently running a HUGE comp called the Scrapbooking Olympics...It started last week and runs for 8 weeks...you can enter at any stage of the comp....so come along and join in...Awesome prizes up for grabs...including Trophies and medals...
I am doing At home workshops for Vicki, who owns the shop Scrappy Days, plus lay-outs for the classes in her shop up there as part as DT work....I am excited because apprantely they are selling really well.....

I ALSO very recently made the DT for A2Z Scraplet's the Chipboard Manufacturing Company...I was so surprised and excited when I found out....woohoo....Julie who is the owner is a lovely lady and we are already getting along great.....I am so happy that I get along well with both my "bosses" both very lovely ladies.....You will find link's to there blogs in my blog list so why not check them out......
Oh and also both Scrappy Days and A2Z Scraplets are sponsoring my site.....so as you will find out there are loads of cool prizes up for grabs....but you gotta be in it to win it.....as they say...

On other topics, I am going to try and bring the release of my first product line, around to an earlier date....so will keep you updated on that and how all is going there.....

Recently got in touch with an old friend from school, I lost touch with her when I moved up to Orange....it was great to catch up and can't wait to see her again.....lol....

So once again I am off to have a chat on the Forum....This has become a very long post....lol...I told you I like to talk....
